Kevin Hastings is a licensed Professional Engineer in 14 states with over 20 years of experience as an expert witness and design professional. He specializes in the testing and analysis of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.

He is a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) and also a Certified Carbon Monoxide & Combustion Analyst.

Kevin is a member of several organizations, including the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE).

Kevin joined the IEI team in 2004 and performs design, cost estimating, forensic analysis, site inspections, research, product analysis and testing. He also provides reports and testifies in depositions, hearings and trials.
