Adam Vaczek has over 35 years of experience in the HVAC and plumbing industry. Prior to joining Ivey Engineering in 2011, he was service and operations manager for a large mechanical contractor. As a service technician, he serviced and replaced chillers; pumps; boilers; water heaters; HVAC, plumbing and control systems; and diagnosed thousands of HVAC, plumbing and electrical problems.
Early in his career, Adam attended trade school and obtained a certificate in HVAC service and repair. Later he became a licensed contractor, a certified Carbon Monoxide and Combustion Analyst, a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD). He has also completed the OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification.
Adam has also attended dozens of technical seminars and classes during the course of his career and has been certified by various HVAC and plumbing equipment manufacturers.
At IEI Adam’s responsibilities include forensic analysis of HVAC, plumbing and energy-management systems. He also performs site inspections, testing, research, product analysis and cost estimating; Adam writes reports and testifies in depositions, hearings and trials.
