Approximately 350 projects have been investigated for defects in HVAC (Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning), plumbing and fire suppression systems. The projects are residential and commercial. They are located in California, Nevada, Arizona, Washington, Oregon and Texas. The investigations have been on behalf of plaintiffs, defendants and as neutral experts.

IEI has assisted clients with preparation, defense and negotiation of construction claims for approximately 25 projects. The projects have included hospitals, convention centers, schools, detention facilities, hotels, manufacturing plants and office buildings.

The firm has provided consulting and expert witness work on approximately 20 product liability cases involving HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression and piping products.

Ivey Engineering has provided consulting to both plaintiff and defendant clients on approximately 25 property damage cases. These cases involved either water or fire damage.

Of the over 400 cases for which IEI has provided forensic and expert witness consulting, approximately 30 have involved personal injury allegations. These allegations involved mold, secondhand smoke, carbon monoxide, airborne fibers, slip and fall, scalding, burns, and explosions.

IEI has provided forensic and expert witness consulting for approximately 15 cases involving design errors and omissions.

Ivey Engineering, Inc. (IEI) has performed design work on approximately 75 projects. The projects include office buildings, military facilities, institutional buildings, retail facilities and restaurants.

Cost consulting and estimating has been provided for approximately 20 projects. The projects were commercial, industrial and residential.
