
Mr. Trim has worked in the plumbing and HVAC industry for approximately 15 years. He earned a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering from the University of Calgary in 2007. He is also a journeyman plumber and gasfitter and has obtained the CPD (Certified in Plumbing Design) certification from the American Society of Plumbing Engineers. Martin is also a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited professional. He became a licenced professional engineer (PE) in July 2010.
Martin has experience in service, installation, design, and construction management of mechanical and plumbing systems. His experience includes both residential and commercial systems. He spent 11 years in the plumbing and gasfitting trades working for contractors. Since graduating from the University of Calgary, he has designed plumbing and HVAC systems and performed forensic work. Martin is a member of ASPE (American Society of Plumbing Engineers) and ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers).
Martin joined Ivey Engineering in 2009. His responsibilities include forensic analysis, site inspections, calculations, and the design of plumbing and HVAC systems. He also performs forensic product analysis, research and testing.
