Mr. Hastings holds a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He graduated from California Polytechnic State University in December 2003 and became a licensed professional engineer in 2008 by completing the California experience and examination requirements.
During college, Kevin gained experience in mechanical control systems, composite materials and ventilation design. He also worked as a facilities manager with Cal Poly engineering services where he monitored and maintained HVAC systems. He also has experience in commercial and residential HVAC installation and ductwork design and sheet metal fabrication.
Kevin joined the Ivey Engineering team in 2004. His responsibilities include design of HVAC, plumbing and piping systems, calculations, and forensic analysis. He also performs site inspections, testing, research and product analysis.
